A celebration of handcraft and heritage, our Ada Ikat Rug is hand knotted by a women's collective of weavers from the Bhadohi district of India. Scaled up and rendered in a two-tone palette, the ikat-inspired design takes on a fresh, modern perspective.
Construction
- Hand-knotted of 75% wool and 25% viscose in India. This product celebrates and preserves artisan handcraft traditions around the world.
- Yarn-dyed fiber has incredibly rich color that holds its vibrancy over time.
- Self binding results in a rug that resists curling and maintains its quality over time.
- Cut pile has softness while resisting matting and crushing.
- Thickness: 0.25"
Care
- Shedding of loose fibers is normal and will diminish over time with regular vacuuming.
- Due to the natural fibers and craftsmanship minor imperfections may appear in the weave. These are not defects but common occurrences in items of this nature.
- To prevent dust and crumbs from settling into your rug, vacuum regularly preferably with only 1 beater and/or shake.
- Do not pull loose ends. Clip them with scissors to remove.
- Keep away from excessive moisture.
- Blot spills immediately with a white cloth.
- Professional rug cleaning recommended as needed.
- Harsh chemicals may damage or fade rug.
